Rep Bobby Schilling (R-IL 17) - HAS TO GO!

Congressman Bobby Schilling (R – IL 17) has been touting his “defense” of Medicare in campaign literature. The thing that has me pissed off is that Bobby Schilling voted for future Medicare recipients to buy private insurance – ending Medicare as we know its. The Congressional Budget Office estimates that this would cost the elderly more than $6,400 directly, and more indirectly. I’m starting this blog to give people an alternative to Schilling’s hypocrisy.

A Policy Wonk Gives You the Bottom Line on the Schilling/Ryan Budget

I ran across this brief video today and it gives you a bottom line explanation of what it does and does not do. It does not balance the budget but it does tranfer wealth - it tranfers what little wealth that people like you and I have to the wealthy. The video is short and it only takes a moment to watch.
